Fun Little Hipster Dress

When I recently went to Japan (Yes! I went to Japan!) I knew I had to go to Harajuku, the fashion capital of the weird and quirky. And oh did I find the quirky! I loved Harajuku so much, and kinda wish I had actually bought me more... Anyways, when in a cute little shop with my friends I was debating getting a little black dress with lipstick tubes, but then I saw this dress in the same cut but with a much more weird print, so of course I had to have it. My thought process was that, "Get stuff that you can't find in the states" and I definitely don't think I can find this in the states.

And yes, I did get some nachos while eating this dress, and they were delicious. I actually wore this dress out to a brunch outing with my mom, and felt every so comfortable. I wish I had taken a few pictures of the restaurant we went to, but ce la vie. Editing pictures of Wondercon and my Japan trip right now, so hopefully one will be done soon. You know what's funny, when you are digging through your files and find some pictures from the summer and realize you could probably wear this same outfit in October? SoCal fall weather had been very...summer like.

But anyways, I took these picture in August when I went to the Anaheim Packing District to hang out with my cousin (if you follow me on instagram you would have seen a glimpse of this outfit already). I love the Packing District and the food...so good. The food was so good that I didn't even have a chance to take a picture of it before devouring it.

While many of you reading this may be in real fall, and may be confused about my outfit, all I can say is welcome to SoCal. TTFN, ta ta for now.

Pastel Spring

Shirt: American Apparel (factory store), Skirt: American Apparel (factory store), Shoes: Alloy Apparel, Purse: Amazon  When I think spring I think pastel colors. So, this outfit was exactly what the weather ordred. It's kinda weird to be wearing a crop top and denim skirt this time of year, it wasn't even May yet when I took this picture. But one must be able to adapt.

These picture were taken on Melrose, near the Fairfax Flea Market. This is one of my favorite flea markets, because of the location and the amazing sellers. Plus, there are so many fun and interesting places to check out along the street, like The Hart and the Hunter. It's a great little brunch spot with bottomless mimosas. And evidence of the greatness of the flea market: the big mineral/stone necklace I'm wearing, and I got it for quite the deal. I also got a vintage leather jacket, a little out of season, but I think it will come in handy in the future. I couldn't help but get it because the old man selling it was so sweet and gave me a great deal.
