Late posting, what's new? Can't help it, life gets in the way. Ce la vie.

So, this was my first Dapper Day and what a blast! Bonus, that it was also Bat Day (goth day)! When walking around the park you saw people in their best vintage wear and then people walking around in all black and flatform shoes. It was so fun to see a wide variety of fashion in the most magical place on earth. On top of all this fun fashion extravaganza, it had been forever since I had been to Disneyland and it was just as magical as I remember. And it was even more magical because I got to go with my friend who also loves Disney. And as you can see, I went a little crazy with picture-taking. Took soooo many pictures, I was like a kid in a candy store. Should I get a Disneypass and enjoy the aprk all year? Need help deciding.

Since it was Dapper Day, my friend and I also went to California adventures to take in the sites, grab a drink, and go to the Dapper Day meetup. The meetup was massive! I was surprised and how big it was, but loved seeing all the creativity people put into their outfits. Next Dapper Day I hope to make an outfit that is a Disneybound. Which character do you think I should do?

Note on my outfit, I actually picked up this dress at the Dapper Expo the day before on a whim, and totally fell in love. Even though I have to get some things altered on the dress, I still decided to wear it. And it fit the beautiful spring weather that found us that day. Plus, my friend also wore a floral vintage inspired dress, so I liked to think of us as the Flowers from Alice in Wonderland. Also, if you are planning to go to Dapper Day footwear is incredibly important! Luckily I thought ahead and decided to wear wedges, instead of the heels I was originally planning.

I hope you enjoyed a glimpse into my fun-filled Dapper Day experience. Loved it so much! TTFN, ta ta for now.

Spring Into Action

I also took about 2000 pictures. These pictures are from my first full day at Yale, and in case you can't tell I had a lot of fun wandering the campus. It was a little awkward taking pictures while my family watched, but a bloggers got a do what a bloggers got to do.

While I was wearing this little number, someone asked me where I got it from and asked "Topshop?" and I said "No, Forever 21". Don't knock Forever 21, it sometimes has really good stuff you just sift through the piles of teeny-booper clothing. It feels good when your cheaper clothes are mistaken for clasier clothes. Prepare yourself for many more outfit posts from the East Coast! TTFN, ta ta for now.

Zorro Hat & Wondercon T

Shirt: Wondercon Convention, Shorts: Zara, Hat: Forever21, Shoes: Converse, Watches: Vintage

When I was at Wondercon I was determined to get a Wondercon shirt with the awesome Babs Tarr Batgirl, but I was foolish and thought there would be a ton leftover on Sunday. Boy was I wrong. When I went to the only vendor selling the shirts, they told me all they had left were youth size t-shirts. I was desperate and bought it (for cheaper than adult sizes), hoping it would fit and look good as a tank (all my hair was not going to fit into the neck hole of a youth t-shirt). Thankfully, it fit! And it worked as a tank! Woohoo!

And to top it off, I finally found a balck felt hat I like. I didn't really want a floppy hat, but I didn't want a straw hat (already have 3). So perfetct! Plus it reminds me of Zorro. And that's always a win.

A lot of things are happening right now, and hopefully I will be able to show you soon on the blog! Make sure to check back regularly. Can't wait! TTFN, ta ta for now.

Pastel Spring

So, this outfit was exactly what the weather ordred. It's kinda weird to be wearing a crop top and denim skirt this time of year, it wasn't even May yet when I took this picture. But one must be able to adapt.

These picture were taken on Melrose, near the Fairfax Flea Market. This is one of my favorite flea markets, because of the location and the amazing sellers. Plus, there are so many fun and interesting places to check out along the street, like The Hart and the Hunter. It's a great little brunch spot with bottomless mimosas. And evidence of the greatness of the flea market: the big mineral/stone necklace I'm wearing, and I got it for quite the deal. I also got a vintage leather jacket, a little out of season, but I think it will come in handy in the future. I couldn't help but get it because the old man selling it was so sweet and gave me a great deal.

If you are ever in LA, make sure to check out the flea market. Until next time, TTFN ta ta for now.
