Sometimes you just want to be sassy, and a shirt with a giant mouth biting its lip is pretty damn sassy...cue "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Plus, I went to "Trapped in a Room with a Zombie" and had to bring my sass if I wanted to survive (challenge of having to solve riddles within an hour before the zombie gets you). Of course, being me, I freaked out when the zombie popped out fell and slighly sprained my ankle. Ta da! Anywhose, I was ordered not to do much walking and rest; which I have been trying to do. Hopefully this upcoming weekend is a little kinder. Until then, TTFN ta ta for now.

Miss Shaheen Dress

It's a beautiful Miss Shaheen dress, that the woman who sold it to me was reluctant to let it go (at such a low price, never settle on the first price girls). Anywhose, I wore this to brunch and then run errands around town. I know some may people may think this is dressy for just running errands, but as if have said before the world is your stage so sashay down it! TTFN, ta ta for now.

So without further ado here are 14 interesting facts about me.

  1. I go to the movies almost every week, sometimes by myself and sometimes with a friend.
  2. I am obsessed with Kate Spade. (Like it's a serious problem)
  3. For a time I abandoned comics and read manga/anime. I returned to comics when I went to college.
  4. My favorite movie is tied between In the Mood for Love  and Batman The Dark Knight
  5. My favorite comic of all time is Sandman by Neil Gaiman. If you have not read any of Gaiman's work yet, please run to the library or book store and pick up one of his books.
  6. I can play the flute, and played it for 7 years while growing up.
  7. I speak beginners Korean. I used to speak conversational Korean, but I'm incredibly out of practice.
  8. My favorite television show of all time is Sherlock with Arrested Development and Archer as close seconds.
  9. I bought my first bottle of perfume recently, Marc Jacobs Limited Edition Daisy.
  10. I am terrified of monkeys.
  11. I am a decent artist and hope to use some of my art on my blog banner.
  12. I have hiked the abandoned part of The Great Wall, and a Mayan Temple.
  13. I can eat a gallon of ice cream in one sitting, it's pretty gross.
  14. I have never seen snow (I know, I'm ashamed).

Hello World! I am so proud to be opening up this blog. I am overjoyed at the thought of being able to combine my two passions of fashion and comics. I know they seem like two very different things but they are two things that I enjoy. Style is something personal and I am able to express my own personal style everyday. I love dressing up in cute clothes and venturing out into the day, it kinda makes me feel like a superhero...not really. I'm sure at one point in everyone's life they imagine themselves a superhero and with my blog I get to write about this.

I know that everyone may not agree with my opinion on the comics I discuss, but I know that we all have our own opinion and I respect that. I also may not know everything  about the origin of some of the heroes, but I do try to educate myself. :) I am always open to suggestions for something to read and if I make a mistake please tell me so I can correct myself.
